blur, cars, dew

Rainy Season Has Started

Since the last few days, almost every evening here in Puchong and Klang Valley has been raining heavily. For those who are driving to and from work, or just doing daily errands should watch out especially those who are riding motorcycles.  Many years ago, I used to be working in the Government sector and in charge for on call in Oral Surgery Department at Hospital Serdang and Hospital Klang ,  cases of Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) were very common especially during  bad weather days and also, in festive season. amongst ‘popular’ injuries related to MVA are head and neck injuries that often involves the face and its supporting bone structures. This is when dentist with knowledge in Oral and Maxillofacial comes into place and becomes among the first responders (of course, after the patient has stabilized 😉 ) and handles the primary wound management. it was a very interesting and eye opening experience to my dental career journey.

Now, with Conditional Movement Controlled Order (CMCO) due to Covid 19 pandemic still in place, when most of the people are expected to keep stay at home  most of the time, there should be less traffic on the road compared to normal days as before. Hopefully, there are less or near to zero case of MVA  recorded during this already depressing and difficult time.

Let’s do our part to break the chain of Covid 19 in our region. Stay safe, and healthy all the time.
